Our Rebreather Taster Sessions at North West Dive Fest are your perfect opportunity to experience tech diving without the pressure. Whether you're fascinated by bubble-free diving, intrigued by advanced systems, or simply want to try something new, this session is for you.

🤿 What to Expect:
During your session, you will:
- Receive a full safety briefing and equipment overview
- Learn the basics of how rebreathers work
- Get hands-on time in the water, guided by a qualified rebreather instructor
- Experience diving without the usual bubbles, in near silence
📍 Location: Capernwray Diving Centre
🗓 Available all day– but slots are limited. Pre-booking essential.
🧠 Prerequisites:
To ensure your safety and enjoyment, all participants must:
- Be at least BSAC Sports Diver or hold an equivalent certification (e.g. PADI Rescue Diver)
- Have recent UK diving experience within the last 6 months
- Be confident diving in a drysuit
If you are not a BSAC member, you must bring proof of your certification on the day.
📌 Important: If you are found not to meet the minimum qualification level on the day, you will forfeit your session and no refund will be issued.
💡 Equipment:
You'll be diving with either:
- AP Diving Inspiration or
- Liberty Rebreather
Both units are trusted by technical divers, explorers, and underwater photographers around the world for their reliability and performance.
